This Saturday, March 22, 2025, marks World Water Day, a global observance created by the United Nations in 1993 to highlight the importance of water and advocate for water conservation. While we often take clean water for granted, this human right is not accessible for everyone. According to the UN, over 46% of the global population lacks access to clean water, impacting health, education, and economic stability.
At Farrukh Foundation, we recognize the severity of this crisis. Many families must walk long distances each day to reach a water source, which may not even be drinkable.
As such, we have taken action by establishing water wells in Pakistan, providing clean and reliable water sources to underserved communities. However, our mission does not stop there. We are committed to expanding our efforts, building more wells across the globe, and ensuring that fewer people suffer from water insecurity.
How You Can Help
The fight for clean water requires a community effort. Whether through donations, volunteering, or raising awareness, every contribution helps us bridge the gap of clean water.
